WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

On the most eminent day 5th June 2021, the World Environment Day, Pushpalatans had a great fortune to hear the one and only Indian Chess GrandMaster Padma Vibhushan Mr.VishwanathanAnand. It was super exciting for our students to hear the Tiger of Madras speak concerning our Environment. Just then itwas felicitous to hear not only one but also another esteemed personality Mr.AbishekSukumaran, Founder of Aquanaut India. He carried the session virtually intriguing, showing us the Beauty of the Blue and also revealed its dark side by exposing the tortoises stuck in ghost nets and huge clusters of litters. He wishes for everybody to become a planet warriorby following the 7Rs before we, Rethink- Refuse- Reduce- Re- choose- Repair- Reuse- Recycle and by having a responsible seafood consumption. Finally the most awaited prize winners of the Environment Day Talent Fest Competition conducted for the student participants of Tirunelveli was announced.Wherein, the 1stprize, 2ndprize and 3rdprize winners were awarded with certificates and Smart Tablets, Kindle Readers and Graphic Tablets respectively.
