PRAJNA- 2023 – 27 October 2023

Pushpalata Vidya Mandir organised PRAJNA-2023, Annual Science Expo, an initiation to promote interest in science and technology and nurture creativity and experimentation in science among students on 27 October 2023. Padmashri, Dr.Mylswamy Annadurai, the Moon Man of India, presided over the expo, addressed the students, felicitated the young achievers of Pushpalata Schools in the field of science and inaugurated the Science Expo. In his address, he explained the achievements of India in space and the path taken by India in lunar exploration. He added that today’s science-based activities will sow the seeds for tomorrow’s journey and success. The students from grades 6 to 9 showcased their commitment to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by displaying projects, models, infographic posters and AV presentations etc. They explored SDGs like Life on Land, Life on Water, Clean Water, Climate Action, Health & Well-being, and Innovation. In addition, they delved into space exploration with ISRO and ISS models. A thought-provoking street play advocated for climate action, emphasizing youth’s power to shape the future. As a whole the expo paved way for the students’ continuous growth as global citizens.
