NAVARATRI CELEBRATIONS- 19 October 2023

The Navratri celebrations in PVM was observed with great enthusiasm seeking Ambal’s grace. The Kolu set up in the school premises rejuvenated the vibrancy of the Navratri. The idols of the three goddesses, ten incarnations of the Lord Vishnu, puppets illustrating various events from the epics were beautifully displayed.The teachers narrated stories about Navratri, the importance of nine days of Navratri, about the ‘nine forms’ of Goddess Durga and how Navratri celebration symbolizes victory over evil.As part of the ceremony, the students attired as Nava Durgai, sangand danced in praise of Ambal and explained the glories of the Goddess.
