KG Sports Day

The spirit of sportsmanship was witnessed in Pushpalata Vidya Mandir’s Kindergarten Sports Day celebrationon 15 September 2023.  Dr. J. Bharath M.D., (Int Med) DCH., presided over the event, hoisted the school flag, declared the sports meet open and addressed the gathering. He insisted on the importance of sports in a person’s life. The Royal March past by Pre KG led by the UKG band and the Olympic torch relay added spark to the event.The young athletes enthusiastically competedin various track events and the winners were honoured by the Chief Guest. An array of spectacular mass drills- the umbrella drill, Real vs Reel drill and the Flashlight drill performed with perfect coordination by the little ones was a real treat to the spectators. The highlight of the event was the Football match conducted for the UKG champs teamed as The Golden Kickers and the Space Rockers. They stepped onto the ground with confidence, played with optimism and finally the Space Rockers were crowned with success.
