Diwali celebrations dominated this week’s class assemblies in Pushpalata Vidya Mandir.  Students from Kindergarten to Class V celebrated Diwali through various programmes.  Children danced to the tunes of Diwali songs.  The celebration of Diwali across India was depicted through a Fashion walk.  A talk in Tamil explained The Story of Diwali.  Students were advised to have a Green and Eco-friendly Diwali.  Caring and Sharing were emphasised upon.  Each child of Classes 3 – 8 was given a greeting card with Diwali art and they personalised it by colouring the artwork and writing Diwali greetings on it.
