ANNUAL EXTRAVAGANZA AT PUSHPALATA SCHOOLS!!

The 40th Founder’s Day of Pushpalata Schools came alive with vibrant energy and grandeur, as the campus resonated with magnificent celebrations on 14th August 2025.  Dr. R. Sukumar I.A.S., Collector, Tirunelveli District, the chief guest of the day was escorted by the School Student Council, accompanied by the school band.  He graced the momentous occasion as its presiding dignitary, joined bythe Chairperson, Dr. Maragathavalli, the Director, Mr. Balasubramanian, the Correspondent, Mrs. Pushpalata Pooranan and the Principals of Pushpalata Schools.  The academic achievers of Pushpalata Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Pushpalata Vidya Mandir and Pushpalata British International School in Board exams, outstanding performers in JEE and NEET, Proficiency holders and the staff who have completed 10 years of dedicated service in the institution were felicitated by the Chief guest.  In his address, he insisted that students should trust their teachers, learn joyfully, not consider learning a burden, and always remember their roots despite success.

The Senior Principal vividly narrated the Annual Report, highlighting milestones and achievements of the students.  Cultural programmes such as Invocation dance, Negai – an English play, The Heart of the Wild – a Shadow dance, a presentation of Bharathanatiyam depicting Ananda Thandavam, a Musical Voyage by the Choir, Enchanting Earth – the Mega Dance and Theeran Chinnamalai – the Tamil play were the highlights of the day.  The event was a vibrant showcase of the students’ talents, while it also deepened the sense of unity and pride across the school community.  In all its splendour, the programme proved a resounding success, uniting students, parents, teachers and well-wishers in celebrating the accomplishments of the academic year.  The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
