Navratri Golu
On Mahalaya Amavasya Day 2022, Pushpalata Vidya Mandir team displayed Golu with lots of enthusiasm and passion. Idols of Lakshmi – the goddess of wealth and good fortune, Durga – the goddess of valour and Saraswati, the goddess of poetry made by our Art Department teachers were on the display. Idols of Lord’s avatars, marriage rituals, puppets of different creatures, chariot race, vaibhava of Kallaghar coming down to the Vaigai river, the scene of Krishna coming as a charioteer for Arjuna in the Mahabharata were also a part of the grand display. Prayers, bangles and sweets were offered to the goddess with Aarti on all nine days.
