HEARTFUL COMMUNITY PROJECT
On September 3, 2022, the Heartful Community of PVM participated in a campaign to spread environmental awareness about the importance of caring for the Arugankulam river. About 56 students of Class IX came forward to rejuvenate the water body by cleaning up the river banks and planting 20 palm saplings under the guidance of the Thasildar Mr. Selvan. One-on-one interactions were undertaken to make the local people more aware of revitalising and conserving our water resources in collaboration with ‘Nellai Neervalam’, an initiative of our District Collector Vishnu IAS to include community engagement for a sustainable future.
