76th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS

Pushpalata Vidya Mandir celebrated the 76th Independence Day on 15th August, 2022.  Dr. Jockim, Dean of Arts, St. Xavier’s College, Palayamkottai was the chief guest of the day.  Dr. Jockim addressed the young minds with his thought-provoking speech.  Inspiring speeches in Tamil and English, a role play on Sardhar Vallabhai Patel, an interaction with Promod Kapoor, an author, and patriotic songs kindled nationalistic spirit to the day’s events.  A moment of pride was the magnificent map formation by 267 students displaying a 120 feet map of India.  90 students unfolded the 70 x 12 feet Indian flag which was mind blowing.  The programme was a reminder of our duties and responsibilities to our nation.
