UNFURLING THE TRICOLOUR

The 75 th Independence Day, unlike other years, was commemorated in a vibrant way through online platform. It was a special day, unfurling the colours of patriotism and sacrifices. All students from KG to class 12 participated enthusiastically in the program. Tapovan hall was beautifully decorated in the tri-colours. The event started with the singing of Tamil Thaai Vazhthu, followed by the hosting of the tricolour flag by the Senior Principal, Mrs. Pushpavani Ayyapan. The Principal Mr. Ganesh Rajagopalan’s address stood out distinctly, inculcating devotion towards our nation. Various events like Tamil kavithai, Hindi speech, instrumental music, dance performance, role play of the incredible women of India were fantabulous. Bharathiyar’s song kept the flames of patriotism blazing in the young hearts. The performances of students as Veerapandiya Kattabomman ,VOC, Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Velunachiyar were immensely eye-catching and was feast to our eyes. To make the event interactive, an inter-house live quiz was hosted and students participated in it avidly. The program ended with the national anthem.
