WILD KIDZ MONSOON CAMP

Starting second week of July, a Monsoon Camp was conducted in Kalikesam, Kanyakumari for children of Class 8. The camp kicked off on the 12^th of July 2019 and concluded on the 14^th. Selected activities like: painting on T-shirts, identification of different families of butterflies with the help of a research scholar, visit to an estate through the forest, night walk around the campus watching nocturnal creatures, nature trail to a tribal village and interacting with the tribal people gave them an opportunity to learn about the flora and fauna of the Kanyakumari Wildlife Sanctuary. Thus Pushpalata Vidya Mandir has provided a platform for the children to explore and expand their knowledge.
