At PBIS, a school day is anything but typical; it is progressive. We hone the cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains of children in an engaging way. A Gleaming Start
The day starts as gleaming faces of students enter the school each morning that says it all. Children carry their cheerfulness just to be greeted by their equally cheerful teachers and staff at the entry.
Eventful Assemblies
The fortnightly assemblies are welcomed with expectations. Beginning with invocation to the Almighty, a monthly theme and value fuel the poster displays and exhibit ideas. Gratuity comprises its closures.
Exploring the World and Beyond
On other days, it is a direct dive into exploring the world and beyond with power-packed lessons that tap students’ cognitive domains with critical Mathematics, sing-song Languages, experiential Science.
Quick Exercise Routines
In between each brain stretch, the students get to warm down with some muscle stretches with a quick exercise routines that take us by surprise. You may be lucky on that day with a quick gig.
Library Learning
When the brain is teased, we ease it and what better than library, with a colossus of books enough to get you lost. Turn a page, scroll down, or just plug in your earphones to enjoy your imagination.
STEM Skills
STEM, the reigning monarch of all subjects in the present scenario, alternates the heavier subjects. Students are trained to integrate daily life activities with technology, stimulating ideas for hassle-free life.
Computer Skills
ICT, provides the students with an opportunity not only to make presentations but also to build on the umpteen computer skills that will define their readiness for the future.
Lunchtime
Lunchtime, the halftime at which children refill energy in the serene, hygienic lunch hall with a three-course meal is the best rejuvenation to maintain the same learning spree as that of the morning.
Leisure Learning
After a scrumptious meal, it is time to take it light. And when we mean light, it is either the labs, a movie, a long-distance collaboration with an international school outside or the performing arts.
Lab Skills
The labs are the activity hub of PBIS. A bevy of students, with multitudes of queries on the whats, whys and hows of technology, throng the labs every day to witness the mute concepts spring into life.
Arithmetic the Practical Way
The Math lab takes another dimension with students experimenting live with numbers and the quantities that define them. Our students sense Math physically, empirically and logically.
Performing and Visual Arts
You may also find some doing art, music and drama, expressing themselves in hues, tunes and gestures. Pastels and paint, keyboard or guitar, and just facial expressions and body language take centre stage.
