Honouring the Spirit of the Republic at PVM!

The 77th Republic Day was commemorated with great pride and patriotic fervour at Pushpalata Vidya Mandir on 26th January 2026.  Students of PVM participated with zeal, paying heartfelt homage to the nation.  The celebrations commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Senior Principal, Mrs. Pushpaveni Ayyappan, in the presence of the Correspondent, Mrs. Pushpalata Pooranan.  The NCC cadets presented a stirring march, moving in perfect synchrony to drum beats, martial tunes and crisp commands, offering a majestic display of discipline, unity, harmony and resilience.  Addressing the gathering, the Senior Principal delivered an inspiring message that served as a guiding compass for the youth, urging them to uphold their values and responsibilities towards the nation and contribute to its progress.  Patriotic songs, dance and eloquent speeches in English and Hindi evoked pride in our rich heritage, freedom of thought and strength of conviction.  The Living Museum depicting the features and the purpose of drafting the Constitution was the highlight of day.  A breathtaking human pyramid showcased strength, balance and teamwork, reflecting the spirit of unity and collective effort. The celebration reflected India’s unity in diversity and inspired young minds to uphold Republic Day values, responsibilities and the pride of Indian citizenship.
