Exploring Ecosystems Beyond the Classroom!

Students of Class XI participated in an educational field trip organised by ATREE to Palayakayal and Punnakayal. They explored the salt pans, were introduced to several endemic species and developed a deeper understanding of the delicate balance that sustains estuarine habitats. They also learned about the traditional livelihood of local fishermen and enjoyed a boat ride into the sea, making it a valuable experience in ecological awareness and experiential learning.
