STAR SINGER – 2024 

‘Every performance is a chance to shine!’

PVM conducted ‘Pushpalata Star Singer – Season- 2’, a Mega Singing Contest to recognise the talented singers among the sparkling Pushpalatans, for classes IV to IX under three categories (Category I for classes IV & V; Category II for classes VI & VII; Category III for classes VIII & IX). With great passion and talent throughout, 176 students from classes IV to IX participated under three categories and 18 students qualified for the Grand Finale, which was conducted on 17 December 2024. Mr. W. Jerry Ragland, a Professional Musician & Music Composer and Mrs. Jaya, a Professional Musician, presided over the Grand finale, judged the performances of the mellifluous singers.

Shiva Harini M.V. of class V, Mahant S. of class VII and Anya Denzil of class IX battled their way to top and won the Pushplata Star Singer title in the three categories respectively. The second places were bagged by Ponvika S. of class V, Janani Atchayaa C.R. of class VI and Lakshmana Sanjeev K. of class IX. They were felicitated with sashes and shields.
