Expert talk on World Environment Day- 5 June 2024

To raise awareness and prompt action on the pressing environmental issues, World Environment Day was observed by the students of class IX on 5 June 2024. Mr. Maria Antony, a Nature Educator at ATREE’s Agasthyamalai Community Conservation Centre (ACCC), Manimuthar, presided over the session and highlighted on preventing the expansion of Sahara Desert by creating green wall, protection of river Ganga by Namami Ganga plan, Conservation of islands from invasion of marine water by creating artificial coral reefs and the Conservation of river Thamirabarani and its ecosystem.
