The Department of Environment and Climate Change (Govt. of Tamil Nadu) & District
Science Centre organised the Science Expo on Sustainable Lifestyle at the District
Science Centre on 6th March 2025. Raifah Fathima M & Aanisha Rahmat A of Class IX
participated and presented a project on carbon fabric filters to reduce carbon footprints.
They secured the 4th Prize among 21 schools, winning a cash award of ₹5000. The
event helped them gain valuable insights into sustainability and innovation.
