The KG Graduation and Glitter Fest 2024 was held on 23trd February 2024 at Tapovan Hall. We were privileged to have Dr. Jasmine Mathialagan, Former Principal of Sarah Tucker College as our Chief Guest. The other dignitaries present were our beloved Correspondent Mrs. Pushpalata Pooranan, Senior Principal Mrs. Pushpaveni Ayyappan, Principal of Pushpalata Matric Hr. Sec. School Mr. Harrison Jebakumar and the Principal of Pushpalata British International School Mr. Godwin. The children of the Kindergarten were conferred with diplomas. The cultural programs on the concept “Around the World in 80 Days” left everyone spellbound.
The children of the Primary Section performed the traditional Bharathanatyam as Invocation Dance which is one of the most divine forms of art. The tiny-tots of KG performed the Graduation dance which was marvelous and kick started the cultural events. The Yoga performance in front of the India Gate in New Delhi was unbelievable. The Asanas and their rhythmic movements were truly phenomenal. Witnessing the grace of our little ones in the celebration of Durga Pooja was truly heartwarming.
The Choir performance at the KG Graduation and Glitter Fest 2024 was truly out of the world. The melodious rendition of songs, most importantly Bella Ciao, an Italian Liberation song and a Tamil cine song was simply superb and everyone enjoyed all the performances by the choir. The compering team was just spectacular, energetic, dynamic and informative as they took us all Around the World introducing us to different cultures and traditions. They were truly flawless in their performance.
‘நம்ம நெல்லை’ – என்னும் தலைப்பில் எங்களது குழந்தைகள், திருநெல்வேலியில் தொடங்கிய பயணத்தில் திரு+நெல்+வேலி = திருநெல்வேலி பெயர்க்காரணமும், நெல்லை மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள சிறப்பு வாய்ந்த இடங்களையும் தங்களது நடிப்பின் வாயிலாக சிறப்பாக நடித்து காட்டி அனைவரையும் மகிழ்வித்தனர்.
“Bravo to our talented young stars!” Our Children lit up the stage with their incredible dance performances in both Indian classical and western genres. Our little masters rocked the stage, leaving us all amazed and beaming with pride. A fabulous fashion walk where every step is a statement. Embarking on a journey where precision meets power, Karate with sword added an extra dimension to the art. Watched in awe as our children captivated with the mesmerizing Japanese Fan dance – a celebration of grave and culture.
Mind Your Language, an English comedy, showed people of different countries with different social backgrounds, religions, and languages existing in the same classroom, learning English as a foreign language. This skit was truly hilarious and humorous which made everyone realize that the English Language had traveled around the world and has become the most spoken language in the world. The business talk the travelers had with the Arabs was informative and inspiring indeed.
