Planting Seed Balls – 02.08.2024
Students at Pushpalata Matric Hr.Sec School embarked on a creative activity of
preparing seed balls which would grow into trees without having to plant saplings.
A total of 330 students from classes 6–8 actively participated in the seed ball making,
which was followed by planting the seed balls in the western ghats of Papanasam by our
student volunteers.
The seedballs were also distributed to the public with the aim of fostering environmental
awareness and encouraging reforestation among them.
The activity was successfully carried out with the support of Green Corps & the forest
department.
