NATIONAL HANDLOOM DAY:
To emphasize the significance of handloom weaving as an environmentally friendly procedure and sustainable substitute for machine- made fabrics, the children of class 6-8 observed handloom day on 7th August. Children were encouraged to make embroidery handkerchiefs, sketch the images of national leaders with thread and beautiful wall hangings.
A video presentation on GI tagged products of Tamilnadu was shown to the students.
