Bharat Scouts and Guides – Inter School Competition
The Tirunelveli Education District conducted an Inter-School Competition for Bharat Scouts and Guides to celebrate it’s Founder’s Dayat Angelo Matriculation Higher Secondary School.The Founders’ Day is celebrated every year on February 22, the birthday of Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of Scouting.
Competitions like Elocution, Essay Writing and Drawing were organised where Anu Vinaya and Sakthivel of class IX won the 3rd place in elocution and T.M. Jaya Solomon of class VIII won the 3rd place in essay writing competition.
6 students of Bharat Scouts won the Rajya Puraskar Award. They received the award from the District Education Officer of Cheranmahadevi and District Secretary of Tirunelveli.
