Global Wind Day – 15.06.2024

Global Wind Day, celebrated on June 15th, is a day to recognize the power and
potential of wind energy. Our primary children marked the occasion by making
pinwheels, anemometers and kites. These activities helped them learn about
wind as a renewable energy source and its role in combating climate change.
Together, we celebrated the vital contribution of wind to a greener future.
Class 6-8 children of PMS celebrated Global Wind Day by designing miniature
wind turbines, posters on the importance of renewable energy and its role in
combating climatic change and slogans on the environmental benefits of wind
power.
