World Animal Welfare Day
“It takes nothing away from a human to be kind to an animal.”
World Animal Welfare Day is an international day of action for animal rights and welfare, celebrated annually on 4th October. Various activities were conducted for the children of the Primary Section in order to create awareness and the importance of being kind to animals. The children made Bookmarks of endangered animals using ice-cream sticks and animal penholders using cardboard and colour papers. They also wrote a paragraph about their favourite pet animal.
