The 74th Independence Day 2020 was celebrated online through Zoom Meeting at Pushpalata Matric Hr. Sec. School. 500 Students and Teachers, which was the maximum limit on zoom meeting, joined this online celebration and showed their patriotism towards Mother India. No grave situation would stop us from celebrating such an important National Festival. This was instilled in all our minds.
The Celebrations commenced at 8.45am where, the Principal, Vice Principal, Physical Education Department, some teaching and non-teaching staff were present at the school campus.
Our Nation’s pride, the National Flag, was unfolded by the Principal, Mr. E. Harrison Jebakumar. This was followed by the Flag salute and the National Anthem. The highlight of this ceremony was that it was covered live and was telecast on Zoom Meeting were the Students and the Teachers watched this ceremony from their respective residences.
There were many programs lined up for this live coverage in order to make the 74th Independence Day 2020 a grand success.
