The Primary and Kindergarten Graduation Day at Pushpalata British International School,
held on 22 February 2025, was a heartwarming celebration of learning, growth, and
accomplishments. The event marked an important milestone for our young graduates, as they
stepped forward with confidence, ready for their next academic journey.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome to all attendees, followed by the felicitation of
our brilliant graduates from Kindergarten and Grade 5. Their hard work and achievements
were recognised, making the day a proud moment for students, teachers, and parents alike.
Adding to the celebrations, the prestigious Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards were
also presented to students who excelled in their academic pursuits.
We were honoured to have Mr. Tushar Kumar, Deputy General Manager of Sales at
Cambridge University Press & Assessment, as our esteemed chief guest. In his keynote
address, he highlighted the invaluable role of libraries in fostering curiosity, independent
thinking, and a lifelong love for reading.
The theme, A Day at the Library, was brought to life by our students through a diverse range
of performances. From an insightful presentation on archaeological discoveries to a
captivating dance performance, the event showcased the students’ depth of knowledge and
artistic flair. The audience was further enthralled by a live orchestration, a thought-
provoking skit, and a fashion show inspired by literary and historical themes. Each
segment reflected the spirit of exploration and creativity, making the library theme truly
come alive on stage.
Parents beamed with pride as they witnessed their children’s talent and passion for learning, a
testament to the nurturing environment and quality education at PBIS.
This memorable event was seamlessly organized under the guidance of our Correspondent,
Mrs. Pushpalata Pooranan, and coordinated by our Principal, Mr. Godwin S. Lamuel.
Their leadership ensured that the celebration was a remarkable success, leaving everyone
