I also take this as an opportunity to share that PBIS has made a mark in the Educational field by ranking 6<\/span>th<\/span> in Tamil Nadu and 44<\/span>th<\/span> in India for International Day Schools in the Education World\u2019s India School Ranking, 2021-22.<\/span><\/p>\n


\n<\/span>We believe in catering to the core competencies that would be required to fulfil the quench of global recognition. Thus, the efficiency of Pushpalata British International School [PBIS] has been sculpted upon three vital factors: Parents, Students and the School Management.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Our parents have been highly instrumental in our school’s growth. The faith they have entrusted with on our standards clearly indicates their positivity, support and a high level of responsibility in taking the school process in the right perspective through their constructive feedback, involvement and encouragement. And it is my heartfelt gratitude to them all for their faith in us which we are committed to seeing achieved.<\/span><\/p>\n


\n<\/span>Being a global citizen is the need of the hour. And we, at PBIS, are committed to steering our children to explore and understand their potential, and to shaping them as refined global citizens. For this, we nurture our students to be tolerant, empathetic, confident and resourceful in knowledge. We involve our students in decision making by providing opportunities to face the challenges in fulfilling their ambition and keeping up with the global race. When children are challenged, their thought process is triggered and they explore more for better understanding. When their understanding widens, they become a highly confident and refined citizen.<\/span><\/p>\n


\n<\/span>The students of PBIS are more conscious of nature. We instil in them the value of responsibility in creating a safe Earth with conserved resources for longevity of life on Earth.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Learning is a life-long process and we, as their facilitators, demonstrate this by being\u00a0exemplars\u00a0of interminable learning. To ensure this, we encourage the entire PBIS community to read on a daily basis. We encourage and provide our team opportunities to learn new things every day in their regular walk of life. We ensure that our children are exposed to every life necessitating skill in order to reinvent their thinking towards achieving sustainable development goals. The teaching fraternity at PBIS keeps upgrading themselves with necessary skills required to meet up to Global standards which was evidently seen with our seamless shift to online teaching due to the pandemic. Prior to executing online teaching due to Covid19, our teachers were trained in MS-Teams and were certified as Microsoft Innovative Educators. As the field of education moves into a phase of hybrid teaching, PBIS is fully equipped to excel in every possible way of teaching.\u00a0 <\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Academically, our children are showing good progress through Active Learning. Consistently,\u00a0our children have gained scores higher than the international average in examinations conducted by Cambridge International Examinations, Cambridge University, UK. Our children have achieved Top in World rank and Top in Country ranks in Cambridge IGCSE examinations and High Achievement Award in Cambridge AL examinations. Our Grade 12 batches have enrolled in various novel courses like Doctorate of Pharmacy, Ethical Hacking,\u00a0Bio-medical\u00a0Engineering, Hon’s in Economics and Management,\u00a0Law and so on, both in national and overseas\u00a0universities. It’s great to know that our children blend\u00a0in with\u00a0ease in their Higher Education courses and are achieving high, including achievements of distinctions in overseas\u00a0universities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n


\n<\/span>The management, under the guidance of our Correspondent Mrs. Pushpalata Pooranan, is highly supportive in progressing towards excellence. It is the collective vision of the PBIS management to foster Global Citizenship in the minds of children.<\/span>
