Disney’s Invisibles – Every Story Has Two Sides:
Celebrating Young Achievers at PBIS Graduation Day 2026
The Primary and Kindergarten Graduation Day at Pushpalata British International School, held on 20
February 2026, was a spectacular celebration of growth, achievement, and imagination. With the captivating theme Disney’s Invisibles – Every Story Has Two Sides, the evening beautifully portrayed the unseen emotions, choices, and perspectives that shape every character and every success story.
The ceremony began with a gracious welcome to dignitaries, parents, and well-wishers. The formal
graduation segment followed, where our Kindergarten and Grade 5 students were proudly felicitated and
awarded their certificates. As they walked across the stage with confidence, it marked not just the
completion of a grade, but the beginning of a new chapter filled with promise and possibility.
Adding to the proud moments, the prestigious Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards were presented to students who demonstrated exceptional academic excellence, applauding their dedication, perseverance, and outstanding performance. We were honoured to have Mr. Kevin Coyne, Lead – Key Account Management, Schools – South Asia, Cambridge, as our esteemed Chief Guest. In his inspiring address, he spoke about resilience, perspective, and the importance of understanding different viewpoints — values that align beautifully with the theme of the evening. The stage then transformed into a world of imagination as Disney’s Invisibles – Every Story Has Two Sides unfolded through a thoughtfully sequenced flow of events. Through vibrant dance performances, expressive skits, captivating musical presentations, and a creative fashion showcase, students portrayed beloved Disney characters while exploring both the visible and invisible sides of their stories. The performances highlighted that behind every hero lies doubt and courage, and behind every villain lies untold emotion and perspective.
Each segment conveyed powerful messages about empathy, understanding, and inner strength.
The audience was enthralled by the depth of storytelling and the confidence displayed by our young
performers. Parents watched with immense pride, witnessing not only talent and creativity but also maturity and insight in their children. This memorable celebration was seamlessly organised under the guidance of our Correspondent, Mrs. Pushpalata Pooranan, and ably coordinated by our Principal, Mr. Godwin S. Lamuel. Their leadership ensured that Graduation Day 2026 was more than a ceremony — it was a meaningful reflection on character, perspective, and the invisible strengths that shape every child’s journey.
